Last weekend we took almost all of the team down to The Celtic Manor Resort for an amazing weekend of Golf and team building. We were incredibly lucky with the weather with two glorious days of sunshine.
We played the Montgomery Course on the Friday and our commercial site manager, Alex whizzed about in a buggy keeping the refreshments flowing, great job!
Everyone had a hand in organising the event, where we were also joined by a couple of our long-standing contractors. Thanks to Barrie, one of our site managers for all the hard work in the background coordinating the date with @Your Golf Travel, Craig for the Scores on the Doors, Arron for the trophies which he won back (best overall score), ironic! and to everyone who joined us. We left Reading early hours on Friday, played a round of golf, then headed out for a slap-up curry and a few beers. After a leisurely breakfast on Saturday morning we made our way to the famous Twenty Ten (Ryder Cup) course for another 18 holes. Sean won Day 1 and Ryan Day 2.
We work hard on site often in difficult conditions, this was a superb opportunity to walk, talk, and laugh together, many of the team have been with us for over 15 years as have our contractors and this was a great way to recognise all those relationships.
