We spent a lovely Autumn evening in the company of this customer, discussing the recent remodelling project and looking around the new space we have created, which is a loft conversion, and it included a luxury ensuite shower room.
This customer found Elivate through an established local publication called the Little Green Book which is an A5 format directory of local services, it also appears online, but this client had a copy delivered through her door and decided to include Elivate on the list of local builders to provide them with a quote.
Her previous experience of her kitchen renovation wasn’t great with the builder claiming it would take up to 6 months, and it took just under a year, and all this time she was having to live away from her home.
After reaching out to 3 builders and two not even providing a quote, the client went ahead with this project and instructed Elivate. One of the reasons they liked us was the structure in the business and the established relationships with other local tradespeople.
The room was already a bedroom but needed an upgrade and this would enable the client to utilise the space more productively and host family and friends visiting, where they can be self-sufficient with their own bathroom.
All of the windows installed were from Velux and were installed to provide additional light into the room, the original window in the side elevation was upgraded and so was the window in the shower room.
The customer built a close working relationship with the entire on-site team and was even baking cookies alongside the plentiful cups of tea, which everyone greatly appreciated.

This property upgrade took place during the summer of 2025, and was located in a quiet road close to the centre of Wokingham.
